Acumentum was delighted to be invited by Hilton International Hotels to prepare a new brand voice for its luxury resort estate, Conrad Pezula, located in Knysna, on South Africa’s outrageously beguiling western cape.
Who wouldn’t say yes?!
This hotel redefines luxury, from its five star service, unbeatable clifftop location and its own unique set of three private beach castles – once famously visited by Nelson Mandela (we sat proudly in his chair and stayed in his room to get the full experience – yes, poor us).
Knysna is not short of accommodation operators competing for voice. There are bountiful golf courses to match Pezula’s own 18-hole international course. But what was obvious from the outset, is that none could rival the service, location or expansive accommodation on offer.
The competitive edge was clear from the outset. But there was more to it than that – and it’s the very thing that strikes a chord in all travelers who visit this magnificent region.
The thing that stood tall in Pezula most authentic voice was the hotel team’s access, knowledge and insights into the home in which the hotel stands – South Africa’s true adventure and leisure playground.
